After the world and continental championships hosted by the Circolo Velico Marsala in the past years, September 2007 will be a great month at our club because we will have the honour to host the European 49er ( the fabulous Olympic boat) which will take place from 8 to 16. By this spectacular event, the international sailing agenda comes back to our province, to the same fascinating historical and cultural  places and to the windy regatta areas well appreciated by a lot of people and teams during the Luis Vitton  Cup Acts , the 2005 CICO ( Olympic Classes Italian Championships ) , the Windsurf World Championships  and the Europe Class European Championship which here took place last year.

Being an “ open “ championship we are convinced we will have a large number of boats and we are prepared  to welcome them with our traditional warm hospitality.  That’s why we are glad to invite national and international competitors , coaches,  journalists, judges, supporters and families  to the fascinating, historical and cultural Marsala  which will be yours for ten days !!!
